Low Loss IBS Coated Thin Film Laser Polarizers are used to transmit p-polarized light while reflecting s-polarized light with a high extinction ratio of 10,000:1. These polarizers feature ion beam sputtered (IBS) thin film coatings designed to achieve optimal, low loss performance at a 45° angle of incidence. They are manufactured from UV fused silica substrates to minimize thermal effects when used with high power lasers and have a laser grade surface quality of 10-5. Low Loss IBS Coated Thin Film Laser Polarizers are ideal for use with 1064nm Nd:YAG lasers to separate or combine s-polarized and p-polarized laser light.
