Off-Axis Parabolic Metal Mirrors (OAPs) are not wavelength dependent and free of aberrations across a broad spectrum. These benefits make OAPs ideal for use in instrumentation and laser systems like Schlieren, MTF, FLIR, FTIR systems and IR lasers such as Quantum cascade lasers. These mirrors provide unobstructed access to the point of focus permitting designers to create more compact systems. Off-Axis Parabolic Metal Mirrors are available in a variety of off-axis and coating options, and are widely used in broadband UV, Visible, and IR applications. If Scattering in the UV and Visible spectrum is a concern, please consider our our Low Scatter 50 Å surface roughness OAPs.
