The Pixelink® FireWire cameras offer an exceptional price-to-performance ratio for machine vision applications. With a variety of sensor options, these cameras are ideal for the most demanding applications. All FireWire cameras are IIDC 1.3 (DCAM) compliant, allowing them to be used with IIDC compatible software, including Linux and LabVIEW™. A rich function set, including external trigger, global shutter control, ROI sub-sampling, and dynamic range control, is fully controllable via software, allowing for quick "out of the box" operation.

FireWire cameras feature two ports to allow multiple cameras to be connected to a single port. Data and power are supplied over a single FireWire cable (not included), eliminating the need for costly cabling, capture boards, and power supplies.

Developer's Software #58-179, Trigger Accessories, Mounting Adapter #58-190, and FireWire Cable (6-to-6 pin) must be ordered separately.

MegaPixel FireWire Board Level Cameras

Pixelink® offers each series of cameras in board level versions with the same specifications and performance in an OEM-type package. These board level cameras are designed for easy adaptability into many machine vision applications. Advanced hardware triggering and camera control can be utilized through the header included on the camera body. The camera is offered individually without housing or software and is only suggested for individuals familiar with integrating OEM electronics.
