As Product Support Manager for Europe, I am responsible for the team of Sales and Applications Engineers in York, UK. This team is one of the primary lines of contact with our customers and provides sales and technical support in 6 languages over the whole EMEA region. To enable the team to provide the best customer service and experience, it is critical that they receive regular training and that internal processes are continuously improved. I am also working with the other Product Support Managers globally closely to ensure our commitment and service to the customer is the same no matter where they are.
Emilie Champigny is the Product Support Manager for Europe and is located in the Edmund Optics UK office in York. Previously she has held the position of Sales and Applications Engineer (SAE) where she mainly assisted EO’s customers in the French-speaking European market. As the SAE Team grew in size she took on the new role of Product Support Manager, coordinating and developing the Team.
She received an MSc in Imaging, Robotics and Life Science Engineering and Engineering degree in Photonics from Strasbourg University (France) and a PhD in Physics from Angers University (France).
My Biggest Accomplishment
I was part of the team responsible for the expansion of EO in India.
