Angi Compatangelo
As the technical voice for the European marketing team, I mainly deal with content creation and curation as well as product placement and market research. My role involves understanding the European photonics market and ensuring that our products are properly positioned within it. I also attend as many international tradeshows and market events as I can to learn more about emerging technologies and industry developments. EO products are used across such a wide range of applications, and I love learning about all of the exciting ways optics are enabling modern technologies!
Angi joined Edmund Optics in 2015 as an Italian and French-speaking Sales and Applications Engineer, supporting customers in the EMEA region with their technical requests, before becoming the Senior Sales and Applications Engineer in 2017, and gaining additional recruitment and HR responsibilities. She then joined the Marketing team as the Technical Marketing Manager for Europe in early 2021, where she utilises the product knowledge and technical expertise acquired in her previous roles to ensure EO products are optimally placed within the European market.
