As the Director of Sales for our Americas region, I'm part of the amazing sales team here at Edmund Optics (EO) - a truly global optics and imaging company that manufactures and supplies the worldwide technical community with precision optical components and sub-assemblies. I’m constantly looking for ways that staff development, process improvements, bridge-building, and pragmatic solutions can improve the overall customer experience. I originally parlayed a passion for astronomy and telescopes into a career in optics, and I haven't looked back since. With the "century of the photon" in full swing, it's an exciting time to help EO's customers create life-saving and world-changing innovations!Right Quotation Mark

Andrew Lynch is the Director of Sales, Americas at EO’s headquarters in Barrington, NJ. Andrew joined EO in 2006 and has extensive domestic and international technical sales experience, including two years spent working as an Applications Engineer in EO’s Singapore facility. During the past several years, he has assumed progressively senior roles in sales management and sales operations. As EO’s Director of Sales, Americas, Andrew and his team strategically drive sales of EO products across all industries and accounts within North and South America. He has a keen understanding of clients’ needs and knows what must be done to optimize the overall customer experience. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Rochester in New York, where he remains a valued and engaged Strategic Member of their Industrial Associates program.

My Biggest Accomplishment

My biggest professional accomplishment has been – and will always be – the success of our customers, my teams, and EO as a whole. That being said, I’m especially proud of my roles in developing the sales team and constantly evolving and refining sales and corporate strategy.
