Brief Summary:

The Talent Management & Development All-Rounder (AR) role provides local, regional, and global facilitation of talent management & development functional tasks, including recruitment coordination, workforce planning, employee relations, training, and reporting of all European EO sites and affiliates.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as first and primary point of contact for all employees throughout EO’s European sites and affiliates providing enthusiastic and professional employee-facing service, in various aspects related to Talent Management & Development.
    Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legislative requirements and/or work council agreements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Recruitment Coordination: The AR initiates, in cooperation with the head of the respective department, the search for candidates. After a pre-selection with support of headquarters, potentially agencies, internal referral, etc., the AR will facilitate the review including proper interviewing involving all relevant people and accommodations. In that phase the AR acts as liaison between labor lawyers and regional management and coordinates the preparation of employment contracts and related documents. Recruitment efforts also include relevant Marketing activities such as recruitments events, career fairs, university programs, social media, etc.. The AR creates a plan and executes needed activities in cooperation with the regional Marketing team.
  • Workforce Planning & Forecasting: Proactively work with management in planning and forecasting of talent management and development needs, including skills-gap evaluations, training needs, succession mapping, and production labor demands on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, aiding in the preparation of staffing budgets.
  • Employee Relations: Maintain and manage effective employer/work council agreement if applicable and act as internal consultant and confidant/person of trust for employees in all relevant phases of their employment (benefits, onboarding, probation period, , counselling, resolving grievances, conducting and analyzing exit interviews and recommending developments etc.)
  • Occupational Health & Safety: AR ensures the fulfillment of the respective requirements
  • Training: Assess departmental and corporate skillset gaps and organize, in cooperation with the respective departments and requirements from the headquarters, a proper training plan and its execution.
  • Culture Ambassador: The AR functions as liaison between the headquarters and the regional offices and has the task to organize activities addressing the employees strengthening the cultural awareness and the company’s core values and work ethics in the region.
  • HRIS: Manage standard as well as ad-hoc reporting related to workforce analytics, using HRIS technologies related to payroll, recruiting, and talent management.
  • Internship Administration

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of local, country specific, and EU laws and regulations related to human resources, including laws surrounding recruiting, on-boarding, privacy, terminations, and employee relations.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of technology suite related to database report retrieval from various sources.


  • B.S. in Human Resources Management or similar HR discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in reports management
  • Previous work in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
