Handheld Spectroscope

Handheld Spectroscopes are easy-to-use, palm-sized instruments designed to provide fast, accurate spectra from any visible light source for demonstrations or laboratory observations. Standard Handheld Spectroscopes features a simple design for viewing the spectra of a sample through an eyepiece. Scaled Handheld Spectroscopes utilize an additional optical system with a 10nm increment scaled reticle for superimposing the scale image to the spectra in order to help minimize measurement errors. Handheld Spectroscopes feature a precision lens and a three-element amici prism system housed in a stainless steel tube, an adjustable slip-type focus, and an optical slit for decreasing contrast while increasing resolution.
