Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) is used in a range of Optical Components, including Optical Windows or Optical Lenses, for applications including thermal imaging or FLIR. Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) Optical Components are ideal for integration into CO2 laser systems because of its low absorption coefficient combined with its high resistance to thermal shock. Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) Optical Components are not recommended for harsh environment.

Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) Focusing Objectives provide maximum coupling efficiency between an Infrared (IR) light source and a single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic.
