Rare Earth Doped Filter Glass

The Schott Rare Earth Doped Filter Glass family has been designed to attenuate a multitude of very narrow spectral bands for unique filtering applications. The glasses are commonly used for laser, fiber optic, spectroscopic, and research applications. The substrates are a sodium silicate host glass with up to 30% weight of a rare earth material. We offer Neodymium, Samarium, Holmium, and Erbium doped options. Additional rare earth substrates are available upon request, please contact our Sales Department with your inquiries.
