Volume Phase Holographic Gratings

Our Volume Phase Holographic (VPH) Gratings feature extremely low scatter loss, low polarization dependency, and a durable design. Manufactured from a photosensitive gelatin with an index of refraction that varies periodically throughout the volume of the grating and then sealed in glass, the gratings can be easily cleaned and handled. The addition of an AR coating allows for near perfect efficiency over a wide-tuning range, making them ideal for spectroscopy, astronomy, telecommunications, and scientific research. Angle of Incidence = Angle of diffraction, and is given for the design wavelength.
