JDSU 488nm Diode-Pumped Solid State Lasers

This continuous wave 488nm DPSS laser from JDSU is available in 10mW and 20mW output power with fiber-based architecture. The package contains both the optical elements of the DPSS laser and the control electronics, allowing full control and diagnostics of the laser system through an analog and RS232 interface. The DPSS laser is powered by an external 5V power supply (sold separately) making it cost effective, reliable and compact with excellent electrical and thermal efficiency.

The JDSU Frequency Converted Diode technology ensures consistency in the manufacturing process. The components are enclosed in a hermetically sealed package, the fibers are spliced together, then the DPSS laser is tested for performance. This process insures reliability and consistency making them ideal for use in biotechnology and semiconductor instrumentation.
