Milbond is an elastomeric-epoxy adhesive system for most glass to metal bonding applications. Kit includes two components (part A and B) of adhesive and an adequate quantity of spacer material to maintain a bond layer thickness of 0.015" (0.38mm). This kit is used for substrates that will not be subjected to very hostile environments. Milbond can also be used in glass-to-glass, glass-to-plastic, metal-to-plastic, and metal-to-metal bonding. This is the adhesive asked for by name by most engineers and production managers. Contents: 400mg of epoxy and 1,322 sq. in. of spacer coverage.
Milsolve Decementing Agent for Milbond Adhesive Elements will completely separate after approx. 48-72 hrs. of immersion. Container holding Milsolve and elements must be sealed with care to prevent evaporation and fumes from spreading. Contents: 1 quart of stripping agent.
