Edmund Optics offers a growing line of photodetection products, laser accessories and components. Our optical chopper is available for laser sources such as HeNe and argon-ion lasers requiring mechanical modulation. For optical signal detection, we offer silicon and InGaAs detectors. Such detectors are compatible with our high speed, low noise current amplifiers as well as benchtop photodiode amplifier. If your signal detection application requires the highest sensitivity, bandwidth or gain, we offer photomultiplier tube modules as well as avalanche photodiodes (APD). Aside from detectors designed for intensity measurement, Edmund Optics offers lateral effect and segmented position sensitive detectors (PSDs).
