This magnifier is ideal for backlit inspection applications since the opaque base shuts out ambient light. Also useful for focusing images on ground glass or can be used as an eyepiece in some applications. Magnifier rests directly on work area. 12X and 9X are Kellner-type, color-corrected, three-element lens systems. 6X model has a precision single-element DCX lens. Wide, flat field of view. Accepts 27mm contact reticles in base ring. Used in our line of Monochromators.
