Thermoelectrically Cooled Green Lasers

The Lasiris™ Green PowerLine™ structured light lasers from Coherent® offer a thermoelectric system and fan that maintain constant laser temperature, resulting in better wavelength, power, and pointing stabilities as well as long lifetime. The Green PowerLine™ design makes focusing even easier with the focus adjusting screw located directly on the body of each laser. The green wavelength (532nm) can provide better contrast on red hot metal or wood than standard red (635nm) lasers. Also, 532nm is more visible to the human eye compared to 635nm, thereby, perceived brighter even with same output power. These thermoelectrically cooled green lasers can be modulated or pulsed using an external signal (TTL or standard). They also feature built-in protection including ESD, reverse polarity, over voltage (up to 12V) and over temperature. DB-9 connector provides monitoring of laser temperature, current, and PD current.
