Incredibly Sharp, High-Quality Patterns with Uniform Intensity and Non-Segmented Lines
All Focusable
This line of diode modules offers a compact, durable product designed and built to perform reliably under the most adverse industrial conditions. They integrate high quality, state-of-the-art optics with the best electronic driving circuitry to yield a truly powerful laser projector. All these laser diodes are focusable and can be adjusted by the user to produce a focused dot. They are also easily collimated, so the beam size will remain constant over a large projection distance.
Projection Heads: Our selection of interchangeable beam shaping optics transforms the standard “laser dot” into various patterns. Using a patented Powell glass lens design to generate the line and crosshair patterns results in an impressive, even distribution along the length of the line, while offering excellent overall stability and line quality. These optics outperform cylindrical lenses that generate Gaussian beam profiles with “hot center points” and “fading edges.” Focusing of the module is easy, due to a unique “C-Thru” wrench design. Installing projection heads is simple and quick, thanks to a smooth dovetail design, held in place with a set screw (allen wrench included). Just remove the projection lens head, focus the laser at the desired distance, slide the projection lens head back into place, align properly and then lock in place.
Features: CDRH certified and CE marked, offers complete thermal protection with auto shut-down above 48°C, over-voltage protection, reverse polarity protection, on/off toggle switch, quick connect/disconnect jack connectors, green LED on/off indicator, black anodized focusing tool and universal input power supply. Each laser is subjected to over 100 hours of burn-in, cycling and environment testing before it ever leaves the building.
Applications: For Alignment and Machine Vision include: printed circuit board inspection (presence, placement, orientation, measurements), manufacturing inspection (surface defects, object protrusions, edge detection, depth measurement, noncontact profiling, alignment) and robotic guidance (part placement, contour mapping, part orientation).
Note: Combine any head <10mW (635 or 670nm) with any module, and it becomes a Class II laser product (warning label is for MODULE ONLY).
