Designed specifically for video and digital format cameras, the InfiniVar CFM-2™ provides image quality rarely seen in other video microscopes. Combining this with unsurpassed magnification flexibility makes the InfiniVar CFM-2™ our most versatile video microscope available today. This trademark flexibility has made the InfiniVar CFM-2™ our most popular Infinity Microscope. The InfiniVar CFM-2™ is often referred to as the do-it-all microscope. Focusing from infinity down to 1.0mm FOV at a WD of 25mm, the InfiniVar CFM-2™ is capable of yielding magnifications up to 260X on a 13 inch monitor (1/2" sensor). To multiply these magnifications by 2X, simply add the DL Doubler Tube on the C-Mount. DL, LDL, and LFA adapters connect directly to C-Mount. LFA Adapter Kit provides coverage for large format sensors (24 x 36mm max), adds 3X to system, and includes F-Mount adapter. 1X Conversion Kit includes 36mm long tube (replaces 62mm long tube and C-Mount) and F-Mount adapter. Mounting is provided through an included 1/4-20 mounting clamp. A variety of lighting options are available, including bright field and dark field ring illumination. This particular option is ideal for edge detection in measurement applications.
The motorized InfiniVar CFM-2™ lens comes complete with encased focus DC Gear-motor with rubber o-ring belt drive and bracket, CE analog/RS-232 control unit, 10 ft. motor/controller cable, basic LabVIEW® interface program, RS-232 cable, and CE universal power supply (110V and 220V operation) with removable US standard IEC power cord. The control unit allows the user to vary focus as well as the speed and direction at which focusing occurs. Speed can be run as slow as 10 seconds for precise focusing, or as fast as 1.5 seconds to cover the focus range. Direction switch can be jogged to obtain very precise focusing. Controller has no position feedback or home position inputs; it is designed to be used with a vision system that provides motion control to a static image scenario. It is ideal for applications where the distance to the area of interest can change. Controller is 3" H x 7" W x 5" D and weighs 2 lbs.
The InfiniVar Zoom (#52-955) is a discontinued part. This item will no longer be available once stock is depleted. The #52-955 lens is an older design, therefore specifications will differ from those given for the InfiniVar CFM-2™.
