Basler area scan cameras offer the efficiency of the IEEE-1394 / FireWire standard, high sensitivity, and high frame rates all in one compact package. These CCD cameras are designed to be a cost-effective solution for numerous applications requiring Megapixel resolution, such as robotic vision, semiconductor and electronics inspection, microscopy, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and more. All models offer an electronic exposure time control, anti-blooming, and test images. The test image mechanism confirms that the camera is obtaining all data included in the image. Megapixel resolution can be attained at 17fps for the A631 and 15fps for the A641. The cameras also provide external synchronization capabilities and programmable exposure time for high-speed applications. An optional 10-pin IO cable (#57-035) is available for applications involving external triggering.
