AVT Oscar FireWire.A Cameras

The Oscar camera line is excellent for applications including microscopy, ophthalmology and metrology. They can utilize up to 128 MB of their storage cache and the FIFO setup for fast preview mode for live imaging. The Oscar family features a high dynamic range and provides the ability to average multiple frames effectively reducing noise and increasing bit depth. These cameras also have programmable I/O ports enabling the monitoring of complex events and flash triggering. An on-board look-up table can be switched on and configured freely. Bayer demosaicing and color correction as well as white balance and real time shading correction are also available with this versatile line. All models can be used with Windows and Linux operating systems via the included drivers, DirectFire Package (WDM driver) and Fire4Linux. Each camera includes a firewire cable. Drive and SDK can be downloaded from AVT website. An optional ¼-20 mounting adapter (59-157) is available.
