Edmund Optics offers extensive coating capabilities for optical components and systems operating throughout the ultraviolet, visible and infrared ranges. We perform a wide variety of single and multi-layer coatings including: broadband, v-coat, polarizing, metallic, narrow bandpass - and up to a 130 layer custom design. Our Pennsylvania and Singapore facilities are equipped to produce coatings for both custom lens and stock lens production runs. These exciting capabilities make Edmund Optics a truly versatile optical lens coating resource - providing solutions for both large manufacturing as well as for prototype volumes.

Our automated vapor deposition vacuum chambers, fully equipped thin film testing area and sophisticated thin film design software provide a wide variety of thin films to enhance the performance of any optical component or system. We offer a full range of dielectric and metal coatings covering the UV, VIS, NIR and IR wavebands. Planetary and colette tooling provide uniformity and volume capacity on every coating run. Proprietary coating designs are available to cover the full spectral regions.
