The Inside Sales Manager manages the day to day activities and internal sales operations of the Inside Sales Team to include OEM account representatives, HVC representatives and catalog sales group.

Duties
    Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage inside sales team with the objective of customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitability
  • Act as coach and mentor to inside sales staff to develop selling and negotiation techniques
  • Develop account management strategy with inside sales staff to complement key account management by field sales reps
  • Develop and optimize overall sales structure and customer interface
  • Work towards continuous improvement of sales process
  • Work closely with Quote Assessment Group such that the Sales and QAG teams operate effectively together
  • Interface with marketing to provide customer feedback
    Job Activities:
  • Optimization of Sales Process (financial and Physical)
  • Management of Staff
  • Implementation of contact strategy
  • Develop interdepartmental processes
  • Interface with department managers to resolve conflicts
  • Contribute to core management team
  • Marketing feedback
  • Credit limit/credit hold management with finance staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum 10 years experience in sales management – management of technical teams preferred
  • Additional formal training in sales, negotiation, and management highly desirable
  • Experience in optical manufacturing and sales.
  • Knowledgeable about sales processes and account development
  • Ability to manage people effectively and build teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to identify key objectives, set goals, and execute
