Summary
We are searching for a seasoned yet dynamic Regional Sales Manager for the southwest region. Position will be based out of our Tucson Design Center. 60% travel, 40% in Tucson office.
- Visits existing and potential customers to address customer needs, identify requirements & key contacts, deliver sales presentations and develop business relationships.
- Develops customer relationships with key decision makers in engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance and purchasing.
- Identifies and explores leads from various sources via phone and in person.
- Continuously follows up on leads and customer contact to develop projects, custom/stock quotes, close sales and capture market share.
- Interacts and co-ordinates activities with EO Account Reps, OEM Sales Reps & Engineering.
- Contributes and distributes OEM marketing data from information gathered from lead exploration and customer development.
- Participates in regularly scheduled sales meetings.
- Prepares reports on all customer contacts.
- Occasional trade show participation and attendance.
- Position requires 60% travel.
- Territory – Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico
Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience and advanced sales skills.
- Optics and optical industry knowledge.
- EO product knowledge and awareness.
- Computer skills; PC literacy in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with customers.
